Engagement

Proper communication must flow from the City to all residents.  All residents need to be heard by the City when decisions are being made in their neighbourhoods.

The Council Initiative on Public Engagement has been completed but has not yet been implemented.Engagement.jpg

 

As Councillor, I will ensure that the Council Initiative on Public Engagement is implemented and results in meaningful change.  As Councillor, I will also ensure that I am available to residents of Ward 5 to listen to their concerns and be your voice in City Hall.

    I’m concerned about the continued increase of homicides in Edmonton. I believe that council must spend more time and resources to tackle this growing issue. In a recent news report the city of Edmonton currently has had 38 homicides vs. 39 in Toronto. These are alarming stats that need to be focused on.
