Transit - Connecting Ward 5
With the planned LRT expansions, many residents in Ward 5, especially in the southern part of the ward, will still be far away from this new line. Ward 5 must have increased accessible transportation choices for all residents.
A system that allows seniors, families, students, and all Edmontonians to get where they need to go safely in a timely manner is essential. We need to invest in our LRT going over or under so we do not have traffic disruptions and delays. Ensuring a strong public system with multiple options will decrease rush hour traffic.
As Councillor I will advocate for rapid, reliable, affordable, safe, public transit.
